This was a worthwhile exposure. The best thing for me was that the course inspired me to do several extra readings about the subjects covered in the course. I expected the course to recommend several extra readings. However, a course can be a life changing event depending on how the student sees it and what he wants to acquire from it. Certainly, a certificate course will deal with only the basics and therefore those seeking greater depth and wider coverage of the discipline will have to proceed to the next level of training. This exposure has made me think seriously about trying the next level with ACT. ACT surely has a wealth of experience in the training of teachers. I see the platform they provide as a great service to the teaching and learning communities. As an Asian, I am proud of ACT as it continues to serve the region and beyond in a field that will affect the future directions of not only the region but also of the world. Dynamic people survive in this world which is the need of the hour.The new generation needs better world to live in, so it is the moral duty of the teachers to mold them properly and guide them in the right direction. There should be a teachers association for all the teachers of India and the world around. Genuinely the problems can be discussed and teachers can come up with definite solutions for future problem of education in India.The brain drain should have a full stop for ever.In true sense then only our country will be independent and prosper in future.
