Radhika did her Bachelors inFine Arts, and joined the playschools just by chance. She had no plans or whatsoever in her mind, but her love for the little kids brought her there. Whilein college, she approached a pre-school for a summer camp and they offered her a job. This was Children’s Nook Group of Schools &JBCN Education, Thane branch. After a certain point of time in her career, Radhika felt that she isn’t qualified enough to be a teacher and for which she gradually took up an ‘Early Years’ course and got into the pre-schools - making curriculums, designing pre-school spaces etc. As being someone from a fine arts background, she has always been very innovative.

So, over a period of 15 years,Radhika has only been into pre-schools due to her love for young learners and passion for the pre-school environment, which according to her, is her forte. She went on to complete her Art for Therapy Course, i.e., using art as a therapy in the pre-school setting which would also help SEN learners in an inclusive setting. Then she joined Narayana School, where she worked for quite some time as a coordinator. The lockdown made her reflect on her career and made her think of the time/s she’d be willing to switch to an administrator’s role or to open a playschool of her own. She was looking for a perfect placeto enrol into an Education Managementprogram that would help her accomplish her career goals.

Shecame across Asian College of Teachers and after completing her Education Managementprogram, Radhika felt closer to what she was willing to achieve. The course gave her a clear perspective of the real situation and the ways to tackle it. According to her, the course content is at par with the current education scenario and the questions/assignmentsstrengthened her understanding of the subject. The program has helped her in her professional life wherein she can relate to the course content on a deeper level.Currently working with Eager Beavers Preschool and Daycare, a chain of pre-schools in Mumbai,Radhika is busy working closely with the academics, dealing with teachers and working alongside the HR of the company.
